Do I have to answer all of the questions contained within a volume in the order they’re presented?

No. Self Learning is a self-directed CPD program and you can answer the questions in any order you wish. You can also choose to build a custom question set with questions from multiple volumes.

How can I change my language preferences?

Please contact the Self Learning team to change your language preferences. Changes will take effect with the next published issue of Self Learning. Please note that French issues are published one volume behind schedule of the English version. Online access to Self Learning is available in both English and French; simply toggle between the two using the English/French button located at the top right of the website.

How do I update my contact information?

Update your contact information by logging in to your profile on the CFPC Portal or by contacting the CFPC Membership department. If you are an independent subscriber, click your name at the top right of the page, select Profile, and edit the information.

I am an active CFPC member, and I was previously a Self Learning program subscriber, but my Self Learning subscription is discontinued. Do I need to create a new account?

Please log in to the Self Learning website using your cfpc.ca credentials. Once logged in, you need to subscribe to gain access to Self Learning program content.

I do not have an account for the CFPC Members Portal. How do I obtain one?

In order to log in to the Self Learning program site, you need to set up your CFPC online account. Set up your account.

I have forgotten my password. How can I retrieve it?

A: If you are a CFPC member or Non-Member Mainpro+® participant, your Self Learning password is the same password used for your CFPC account. If you have forgotten this password, reset your password. If you are an independent Self Learning Program subscriber, reset your subscriber password. If you represent an institution or library, please contact the Self Learning team for assistance.

I have forgotten my username. How can I retrieve it?

Your username is your email address. If you are unsure of the email address on file, please contact the Self Learning team.

How are the statistics for each question calculated?

The statistics displayed for each question are calculated based on question responses submitted by subscribers online. Correct answers are highlighted in bold (the correct answer may be different from the answer with the most responses). These statistics are provided for your information only. Available statistics may be used to help the Self Learning National Committee determine key topics for future questions.

Can I save multiple custom question sets?

No, only one custom question set can be saved at a time. If you save a new question set, it will override your previously saved question set.

My custom question search resulted in a long list of questions. Can I save this list and refer to it at a later date?

Your custom question set will be saved automatically. You can retrieve your saved questions from your Dashboard by clicking Saved Question Set. Please note that only one custom question set can be saved at a time—if you conduct a new search, it will override the previous search.
