Is Self Learning Program only for family physicians?

While our primary focus is on family physicians, we welcome nurse practitioners and physician assistants to join our program. The published content is relevant to all healthcare professionals looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in family medicine.

What is the difference between Self Learning and CFPCLearn?

Both programs are Mainpro+ certified CPD offerings from the CFPC. Offered for a fee, they can effectively complement each other and work in synergy to enrich your learning experience. CFPCLearn offers bite-sized learnings through podcasts and webinars that are available online only. CFPCLearn is produced by a team of staff and expert partners, some of whom are family physicians themselves. The Self Learning program publishes a collection of questions (in Q&A format) drawn from over 100 peer reviewed journals that are published every other month in print and online. Also, Self Learning is curated 100 per cent by your peers with over 60 practising family physician participants across Canada.
